France

France started with a boring landscape, the Worldwalkers just went straight until they reached Paris. Paris is wonderfull, this is a fact known by everyone. After Paris the tour became a lot more extreme. The winter came earlier than expected, than it was planned. The brothers tried to reach the southern parts of France before sub-zero temperatures arrive, but they weren't quick enough. For two very long weeks they had to pass the nights in snowy forests and fields. Once they put up their tents in front of the police station in a small village, just to get arrested, and to spend a night in a warm, dry cell. Nobody was bothered about them. Finally they reached the mediterranean, so they survived once more. The first sign of the change of the climate was a strong but warm wind from Africa.
